WDW - A Trip Report 3

Day 2
We woke early again. Today we were heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Lunch booked at 50's Prime Time Diner.

When we arrived we went looking for some breakfast - it ended up being just something little...I think some kind of snack treat as not much was opened early. We went to get fast passes for Toy Story midway mania and also decided to jump in line and ride it. We watched Muppet vision 3d, went to go to the backlot tour however we didn't have enough time before our lunch reservation so instead we rode Star Tours. It was GREAT! then we went to check in for lunch.

The Milkshakes were to Die for! and the fried chicken tasted sooooo good! we all came out of there very very full!

After lunch we rode Toy story again, Star tours, grabbed fast passes for Tower of terror then went back to our resort to swim. After swimming we headed back to HS and rode some more rides. we didn't see any of the shows as it didn't work with our schedule today except for fantasmic. We rode Tower of terror, did our fast passes for toy story and rode star tours again, then went to get our seats for fantasmic. They were herding us in the theatre like a herd of cows. This was the worst of it that I felt we were just a big herd. We followed 2 women down the stairs and went to take our seats. The two in front of us took a seat and we went to sit beside them when one of the women put her hand out and said - nope these are taken...then 3 more women come along and pushed my hubby and daughter out of the way...not even an excuse me. They were the rudest people we encountered our whole trip, and there were a few (you know the ones who pretend not to know manners while on vacation lol)

We moved over to the next section of seats and ended up sitting beside the nicest family ever! They were from the south and this was there first ever trip to WDW. The young man I was talking to had never known such fun in his life. He was starting as a Jr in high school (which I think is grade 9 or 10 here) and was worried he'd get lost on his first day. He was having such a great time with his family and even though they only had a few days to spend in WDW they were having as much fun as they could. Those are the kind of people that really make your day! I hope he had a great first day and didn't get lost!

After fantasmic the "herd" had to be moved for the next show to make it's way in. Of course on our way out of the theatre Izzy had to pee...yep good luck finding a washroom...One cast member told us there were washrooms outside of the gate - yeah but uhm we're not leaving the park yet lol...so we found the nearest ones and hubby took her in as the ladies room line was way too long.

Once our trip to the toilet was finished we moved along the main road and took some night time shots infront of the "hat" of course those are on Photopass so I'll add them later. We went to ride star tours again but the line was too long so we decided to call it a night and headed back to our resort.
