It's been a few busy days around here with not much time for blogging! Merry Christmas everyone!
Christmas morning we pulled of a big surprise for the girls. We had hidden around the house 4 boxes containing a 48 piece princess puzzle with a clue written on the back.
After they had finished opening all their other gifts we handed them the envelope that told them to go looking for the 4 boxes. Once the girls found the boxes they started to piece the puzzle together. Monkey got bored fast...it's hard to entertain a 6 year old who just wants to play with her new toys ha ha ha....so Daddy helped them get it together. They flipped the puzzle over and revealed the clue
"Go down and find your next clue in your playroom"
So down they went. they found a largish box wrapped. Once they brought it upstairs they opened it and Monkey pulled out Donald duck, Boo pulled out Daisy Duck. They found a paper with them that had a picture and said "we're going on a trip" August 20 to September 4 2011 across the bottom.
Boo started jumping and screaming We're going to DISNEY WORLD and Monkey smiles then says " but I don't want to take an airplane" and starts pouting....Merry Christmas lol...just the reaction I was looking for!
I have a not so nice video of the reveal but I will not be posting it anywhere.....for now.
Since the big reveal they've been pretty happy about the trip getting into the planning books and figuring out who they want to have meals with (character ones) and what parks they want to see first, which rides they want to try that they haven't and we've got a small list started. So while the video reveal kinda sucks the girls are really happy about going back and likely will drive me nuts for the next 7 mths trying to help plan everything ha ha ha.
This week has been spent relaxing at home mostly so we're going to do some fun stuff for the next two.
