We spent the day doing all those last minute things. This morning we rounded up all the old clothing that no longer fits or we no longer wear and took it to Value Village for donation. After we decided it would be a good time to get an oil change for jeep jeep since it did blink at us this week. We headed over to Mr Lube to get it done and they do their routine checking of everything...only they broke my rear tire. Okay in their defense it was probably defective from when Urban X put the tire on and twisted the screw cap on too tightly therefore making it impossible to remove and causing it to break. It took 1 hr to get them to change the tire and finish the oil change. I was not too happy a camper....actually I was feeling a little scrooge like after that!
Finally we had to run to the grocery store so we had food for breakfast tomorrow morning. We got to Superstore where the parking lot looked more like a road race for the next spot....ugh. What a nightmare! Eggs, Milk, bread, fruit, yogurt and turkey sausages. that's all we got! and got out! Once home and unloaded the girls changed into dresses and we headed up to mom's for Christmas dinner.
We celebrated Christmas tonight as my sweet sister works tomorrow and we didn't want to miss out on seeing her. We met her BF's parents who are very nice people and already feel like family!
What a nice evening. Tomorrow is the big day. We're excited and will share pics etc then.
